Sitting comfortably in the half abstract
Reflections in panes of glass
Echo half thoughts that obscure vision
Nothing is clear
Even when a barrier is transparent
To be distracted by an object
That I could turn around
To view easily
Makes no sense
But I'm convinced there's a lens
On my world view
That puts it right
Though it's unlikely to be
Gazing without focus
Or thinking without concluding
What a pretty space
The half abstract can be
It's the eyes and free mind of the poet
But it can be a prison
Once again lost in thought
As reality has trundled past
Whilst I daydream
Of waking up
And being real
