Siren
A sound
At the end of your hearing
Dances playfully
And wanders
Up and down your ear,
The tantalizing music
Of a voice in the distance
It calls to you
And grabs you lightly,
Guiding you to a
Special place,
You may not
Know where
But you don’t
Seem to care
Because of how
Enchanting and bewitching
Each and every note is,
‘Snatching all your attention
Leaving you a husk
To follow along
To the awe-inspiring vocals
Of the one you
Have to know, need to know
Turn the wheel
And reach ahead
But instead of seeing
This incredible beauty
That seduced you,
You crash into a rock,
Filling you with
Gloom and doom
