Sir, I Hope You Are Well

Sir, I hope you are well and perhaps Racing in the wind, or sailing On A sea with gentle winds, or Maybe Basking in the sun on some beautiful shore. Sir, I hope you had a day of bliss Laughing with a friend who Just hugged you and Held your hand, or perhaps Was awed by your smile Or that look in your eyes. Sir, I hope your day overflowed With sunshine, and sunbeams tickled your nose or Kissed the face of Someone you love and together You did cart wheels Or wrote some silly poem Altenating the lines of love. Sir, Oh, I hope someone sang you A lullaby, if not today, Last night and perhaps whispered How they were blessed To have you as a friend, lover, son, pal, dad or Just a good buddy to enjoy a Beer with or champagne In celebration of something Wonderful! Sir, I hope you are well! Cynthia

This has such a sweet tone and loving air. Using 'Sir' gives it a lovely innocence. love, Kathy

One question: in your last verse in the second line, is "lullay" supposed to be "lullaby"? Everything else looks fine.

Thank you Robert once again...I don't know if it's my eyes or fingers. So much appreciated...I welcome your "critique"... Cynthia
