Sipping Thoughts
this day lingers
on the edge of dusk
as the moon rises
less full then my mind
with thoughts of you
i can feel a breath of wind
against my almost bare flesh
it arouses me
as shadows touch
like fingers trembling
beneath the folds of lust
i feel the moisture
within night's air
my lips part
as i sip the dew
and drink thoughts of you
the gleam of a thousand stars
become your eyes
reflecting back as me
and i linger
on the edge of night
drunk on thoughts of you
