Singing the Song of Life
I am singing the song of life today
And skipping a little and twirling
but secretly.
I am on a roll, clever more to myself
than to any others, for I am the easiest
to please, am I not?
Pretending I care about others, yet
at this second, it is all about me.
Me. Me. Me. Me. Me.
Okay, enough of that.
If I keep that up,
my heart song will
disappear forever
For to be honestly happy,
and amazingly enthusiastic,
the song of life has to be about
your service to others, right?
