Sing me a song about September.
She soothes me with her syllables.
She warms me like a blanket.
She fits me like a glove.
Sing me a song about September.
Let her lyrics be bathed in pleasantries.
Let her tone be, calming, poised, and serene.
Let her cool the summer flames of my soul.
