Sing I Praise
Sing I praise
not for reward
already blessed --
but sing I praise
seeking harmony
with God’s best --
Sing I praise, voice
of purified stock --
a worshiping neighborhood
a divine acoustic, risen flock --
As the lord sustains
His creation~ examples:
nurtures daily -- His
abundance of beauty, the world I
tunefully hear enchanted awesomely see –
Sing I praise, NOT A chorus of doubt
challenges Christ vibrato in me.
Loyal to Father in His creation,
to the Son, our sacred Brother --
ruling my heart no All-mighty other
Though evil beckons mutes to Silence --
While many fallen yet cling to violence --
Hear now, my clear voice of spiritual triumph!
Hear now, my alto victory! – Sing I praise
reclaiming earth for God’s heaven above – Sing I praise
inviting you to robustly choir with transfiguring, eternal love!
