Sing a Song of Christmas - the Six Senses - Part 3

The Pies Are in the Oven (Smell) The pies are in the oven. Oh! Aroma greets my family, Who rush downstairs with eyes aglow! The pies are in the oven. Oh! And Christmas cheer is sure to grow When home smells like a bakery. The pies are in the oven. Oh! Aroma greets my family! Joy (The extra special sense) What night of wonder most profound When Mary bore her baby boy. Celestial light! Angelic sound! What night of wonder most profound. And shepherds who were gathered round God’s precious lamb were filled with joy. What night of wonder most profound When Mary bore her baby boy. For PD's any Christmas Poem old/new Poetry Contest

Thanks for bringing back the sense of Christmas that seems to happen only for children. I suppose becoming childlike is part of old age, eh? Love, Old daver
