A most popular dolly was Sindy
Her outfits were terribly skimpy
Tiny waistline was drastic 
With huge boobs made of plastic
She’d get blown over if it were windy!

Yes Barbie and Sindy were rival dolls lol not that I ever played with dolls was far too much of a tomboy lol:-) hugs jan xx

A funny limerick ... but also makes you think. Personally, I think they should make those dolls more realistic ... you wonder what it does to those little girls state of mind, looking up to something that's virtually impossible to obtain. I remember hearing about one doll brand that was actually made according to the real standards, and anatomy, of the average person (rather than promoting anorexia ... lol!) ... anyway, long story short ... GOOD limerick, Jan!

Yes I agree Timothy they are not lifelike - the Barbie/Cindy figure is not somethinga personcan realistically achieve and young children are so impressionable at an early age:-( so glad i never played with dolls:-) hugs jan xx
