Simplistic
Listen to poem:
Negativity overpowers,
every feeling that manifests itself,
without one's own doing, it runs rampant.
Others, no doubt, smiling from a once-far flame put out.
Wouldn't have it any other way—
bones break, guilt, shame, false hate...
I cannot do this any longer.
You win! Thank you for all that you've shown me.
I'll change for the worst.
I should have never risen against you.
So mold me anew...
Tie my hands and feet, then I shall fit in,
grasping at material to fill my needs,
as if 'stuff' actually matters!
"Kill yourself already, you want darkness?'' The devil speaks.
No such savior, I am no form,
I have no language, endure your given heartbeat.
Can you not see I try...
I know. My own disaster.
One's chance at life!
Can I walk in your steps?
