Simplicity
Sigh, small pleasures enjoy more than great; why?
In much sadness have recently lain
Many days our lives have gone without rain
Patiently waited with no little sigh
Lain out hose to sprinkle, pray no reply
Increased heat upon the earth brought plants pain
Circumstances hindred watering again
In agony to God once I did cry
Thanksgiving I hear coming from the tree
Yes, a tree frog or rain frog sings just one
Simplicity in life have known before
God help me to lean on this much much more
