Dewdrops sliding down
A soft, bright petal
Nurturing and gentle
Like a loving teardrop
Embracing my thoughts
The whispering breeze
Calling a heart as it passes
Murmurs a psalm on the
Sunlit morning of a summer
Day filled with joyful promise
Starlight falling lightly
On a silent, moonlit night
As a ghostly song lingers
On the edge of darkness
Calling to the fireflies in June
Tangerine sunshine warming
Naked thoughts and reassuring
My hope of laughing colors
In hues of amber, gold and crimson
Embracing my heart with a poem
Radiant blushing roses gracing
A garden of my soul’s dreams
Inspiring me to touch the foliage
With faithful, warm tenderness
Reflecting all my best emotions
Serenity that welcomes me into
A sweet sincere prayer to the creator
Of all this mystery we share as
Blessings from a loving and giving
God who listens to our true plea
Rain showers that bring flavors of
Breathless inspiration and insight
To season my heart with enlightenment
Easy smiles and kindness that brings
A healing and hope on the inside
Music that rests on the soul, speaking
To the silence with wise, warm words
Filled with thanksgiving and purpose
Peace that leaves the spirit alive
With compassionate joy overflowing
A twinkle in the soft eyes of one
Who is willing to live, love and give
From the depths of the heart
Kindness and grace, faith that weaves
Threads of light into spiritual awakening
A little hand, so small and trusting
Placed into my own with a knowing
That I will lead them across a road
Or in the direction of safety and hope
That is as secure and sure as the dawn
Sighs soothing as the milky clouds
Drifting on cerulean with miracles
Meeting of breath and moist air
Praising the way that awakens
The soul to this dance of the spirit
Mornings with a hungry thought
Feelings that reveal a heart
Simple ways to embrace a soul
With thanksgiving, blessings
Alive on the life filled with love
