Silver Bird
The silver bird streaked across the sky
The thunder and tremor its signature
The search for the invader is on
They had to bring out the big bird
They witnessed the search across the sky
The aerial search which dragged all day long
They spoke in hushes about the invader
They were glad the search turned blank
They couldn't fathom an enemy among-st them
They were relieved that the enemy was long gone
