Silhouette
In broken mirrors I can truly see
totally transformed, this version is new;
Every moment that has built and shaped me
everything has changed, no longer true;
The past is left behind in a shadow
you are much more than how you begin;
Burning like a slow building crescendo
no longer comfortable in that old skin;
Fireworks in my eyes desire sparkling
With every mistake you grow and you change
Not the end but only the beginning
The trail behind me has led to the stage
Hidden in the darkness, naked, yet dressed
Emerging, I cast a new silhouette.
