The haiku you have composed is a masterful work of art, skillfully weaving together vivid imagery of memories intertwined with the gentle tears of misty eyes, reminiscent of raindrops. It beautifully captures the essence of nostalgia and evokes a poignant sense of longing, dear Sara.

Yes, the rain poured here last night, and it wasn't a really bad rain like they had said it would be just a lot of it. I imagine the creeks are out of their banks. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

thanks for visiting, Sara K, and for your comments. We received 1.5 inches of rain overnight...creeks and rivers are out of their banks. But I loved waking up to the smell of rain. Delightful, hugs, Sara

Memories do make us feel that way, lately i feel the same, and youv expressed so eloquently in the form of haiku. In silence like raindrops, we sometimes, drown in tears from memories, i love the picture youv used here too, and the way youv delivered this. You definitely are still the queen of haiku for me. Sending you light always

The older one becomes, the more memories that are present. Sad but true. Nice haiku of what was.
