SILENCE(Image courtesy of ncarolinian.com)

poem written and submitted for Craig Cornish's "Maestro" contest (March 30, 2024)

“Silence is a source of Great Strength.” Lao Tzu
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the concert of existence, where rhythm and reason unite, A silent maestro conducts, where opportunity takes flight. The universe, a composer of fate, presents a melody of chance, A symphony of transformation, inviting us to enhance. This melody, a solitary sonnet, composed within life's grand suite, A golden opportunity, profound and replete. To play it calls for bravery, a heart steadfast and true, A willingness to progress, to embrace a tune anew. The melody, a song of change, shapes our symphony, Creating us into constructs of intellect and harmony. Silence is the Maestro, a testament to our might, In the concert of existence, we orchestrate the light.
I love silence and they speak loudly to me. "The universe, a composer of fate, present." Sometimes I wonder if they take a sip of alcohol, the universe i mean. You know why. Lol. Lovely piece Sara.
Much depth you explore through melodies of maestro, Sara. Much insights we gain through ruminating in silence. ---Silence is the Maestro, a testament to our might, In the concert of existence, we orchestrate the light-- well said-- a perfect ending to your poem.
"Silence is the Maestro, a testament to our might, In the concert of existence, we orchestrate the light." Beautiful! In the silence all is still...now I know the meaning of a word-drop, and the ripple voice of eternal sea. As much as we are alike, we are each singular to God. Not a cog lost to His Universe endless.
