Shrink Having a Lot
How many things shrink?
With time,
A lot perhaps,
Is shrink a sign of decay,
Or simply something lessening,
Let us agree honorably that it is lessening,
How many things lessen,
With time,
A lot perhaps,
Is lessening a sign of reduced importance,
Or is it that we have expended a limited stock,
Let us agree honorably that it is expending,
How many things we expend,
With time,
A lot perhaps,
In the hope that we might get more,
More of everything perhaps,
May be that we do end up getting more,
And more of everything,
But what is the use when,
You are shrunk, lessened and expended.
