Should I Fear Her

Surely i should fear Her If i risk alienation to be near Her Its clear to all She is a festivity Killer Can make Optimism Quiver Living in wait In search of happiness to bait As she cannot relate To the feeling One can only translate When you meet your mate Go out on that first Date And boy how you anticipate How that first kiss will taste Because upon that is what this relationship is Based

Interesting way to write about a new girlfriend! Is this based on current circumstances? gosh I hope she won't be a festivity killer!! Liked the line about the first kiss! Luv, Andrea

Smiles -- if she's a "festivity killer," I'd stay away. Still, we can all appreciate the apprehension of "that first kiss." (But what do I know? Haven't had a date in a long time.) You've convinced me to write about that night at sea. A new narrative poem is in the works. Thanks for your encouragement Chris! Love, Carolyn
