She's a Diamond

America had declared war on communism and poverty. And the world was in a massive state of change. Revolutions sprang up around the globe, and It appeared the social arena had struck gold. The young had decided to make love and not war. By 1972, I had struck gold and discovered a diamond. Indeed, having uncovered a pearl of great price, I was willing to forsake all others for that one girl. Her soft and caring voice sang right into the core of my heart, and her beautiful smile took my breath away. It was two years, but before we knew it, we were saying, "I do". I shall never cease to remember that moment I set my eyes on her. They say that diamonds are forever. So far, I've had my diamond for some 52 years, and she still smiles and sparkles. 051923PSCtest.
