Is it a sherbert day?
Any day is
for our particolored poet.
She waltzes in a mobile gown -
peaches and plums,
lemons and cotton candy pinks.
The rivet of cold sherbert
or lemonade stirred,
painted - her prismatic words
gently placed upon her plate.
we gobble them up or slow down
to catch the crystal shake -
the windchime of her mind.
