Sheepishly

Winter’s run its course And nature’s had its rest The blanket of snowy white Has lost its glow How dull the skies That wake from slumber The frigid frost has lost its bite The winds have lost their thunder Sheepishly the spring sneaks in Barely half awake still half asleep AP: 3rd place 2022 Submitted on January 30, 2020 for STRAND CHOICE 11 sponsored by BRIAN STRAND - RANKED 2ND Originally posted on January 29, 2020

I adore "sheepish Spring". It starts here with daffodils which pop out of the snow.

Nice one Line, hopefully, winter won't last too long but we're still to get snow in Scotland though some came up north yesterday. Blessings, Gordon
