She Walks

She walks to the beat of the bass drum searchin' for love down the street with experienced feet her head held high eyes set straight impatiently...she waits disconnected and rejected often neglected and disrespected she sifts through her brain lookin' for another way just a place to escape Overdosed on reality just another technicality of the opiate of the masses ripping through her sunglasses pounding on the door of life everyone tells her she's wrong but all alone she's always right could u only love the day if you only existed at the night? Questions with no answers plaguing her like cancer and still.... she walks on to the beat of the bass drum awaiting for her cure to come
