She Sits Alone
SHE SITS ALONE
She sits alone at brink of giggling stream
gazing at amazing bold bright twilight.
Splendid spectrum losing colorful dream.
Sun goes down, evening merges to dark night.
Me, walking silently on river bank,
A loner staring at stars on dark sky,
Feeling urge to talk to her and be frank.
Moon playing hide and seek, peeping being shy.
My tangling desire to hold her hand
oppressed, suppressed, restricted by wobbling.
Stepping close to her, yet to stop and stand.
Little brittle ripples of stream bubbling.
Me, a loner standing on river side
She sits alone in dark, Moon tries to hide.
