She sang and she sang till blue in the face It didn’t look bad with her dress of white lace She sang her little heart out Her body they did cart out They searched for her heart, there was nary a trace

Thanks Sara, when I wrote this, I was feeling funny and that this is such a funny expression, what if it was literal! I never thought anyone would think it was sad! That's what's great about writing, interpretation is entirely individual!

Sad but clever my friend. She sang her heart out, she died for the love of singing and yet when they searched for for heart there was nothing there, she actually sang it out, out and away - WOW intense imagination Mike, really enjoyed, very well penned.
