She Replenishes Spring
she caresses the green of the meadow
slumbering into the recesses of the garden
we tiptoe, awed by her presence
feeling honored, at her gentle reverence
she replenishes spring with her ambiance
changing the feelings of the fortunate
from winter despair to verdant joyfulness
we sit gently, not wishing to wake her
her eyes look ready to open at any moment
she gives us the nod to plant our daffodils and tulips
maiden who may not realize or appreciate
power she has to bring the fey alive in the garden
