She Is Dancing

I see her on a beach with her husband - young; bikini-clad; swirling over the sand; arms extended to embrace the sun, the sea, and golden land. She's me! In my memory she is dancing to music only she can hear. Written 10/5/2015 for the "So I Thought of This Line" Poetry Contest of Francine Roberts

I like women in bikinis. Did not make it to the beach this summer so I didn't see any. I have been downloading songs by the Turtles - remember them? Isn't this a shape poem? Good luck in the contest! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Dancing to the words in your head sis? My lovely sun loving sister can make me dance with her words that flow through her pen.

Very nice Andie. You've treated us again with a sample of your invented form and with such a pleasing imagery, if I may say so myself. Reminds me of the night of the full moon. Way to go, lady! hugs :-)))
