Psalm 27:14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. She was a warrior with a fearless spirit She listened to the Lord – the still, small voice She was a fighter with a valiant nature She listened to the Lord – went the way of the Cross There never was a time when she felt brave And there were many moments when she felt defeated Like her heart would break and her soul would fail her But, like a light that shines through the darkness His flame twinkled through the shadows of sorrow Left her feeling like He had touched her with courage Inspired her to live a little closer to Him, closer in Where she was always so sure she had a real friend She was a trooper with a heroic demeanor She followed Him through the worries and troubles She was brave with a heart that whispered keep giving She followed His counsel and learned to survive There never came a day when she felt like she could pay The price for all that sin – but when she entered in To the relationship with Jesus, the One who died for her She was given a second chance to live a life meant for good A life built on hope, faith and love and goodness from above A life God inspired her to live, without worry or dread With the gift of the Holy Spirit to breathe serenity within Where Jesus gave her the assurance that He would always be There for her, lighting the way, helping her to stay strong She was a warrior with a fearless spirit She listened to the Lord – the still, small voice Who directed her to love unconditionally With a love He spoke into her spirit
