She is
What a beautiful person she is, with her hair and the slight smile on her face.
Can you see the shadows that haunt her?
Can you see the darkness hidden behind her eyes?
She is so unique—stunning and bold.
Yet, here she lies, unwillingly waiting for the moment when everything can no longer be denied.
She wants to lash out with her own voice and fight for herself, but when she looks in the mirror, she sees… hopelessness, and unfulfilled dreams.
Thoughts rush through her mind, shifting from what used to be to the unsettling question of how can I not know this person staring back at me? Our first question wasn't about her beautiful face, but about the deep beauty that made her who she is.
