She and He - Through Poetry

Writing in a notebook, she leans against an old oak tree with her sweet thoughts running free like fish darting through a sea. Typing at his keyboard, he writes his verses rapidly, wanting very much to flee from his own reality. Though apart, they soon shall be with each other, for you see, their tale is inside of me, brought to life through poetry! Feb. 12, 2017 for the Monorhyme Contest of Shadow Hamilton

A lovely little poem... I sense it is tinged with sadness, but maybe that's just my "glass half-empty" viewpoint. Good luck with the competition!

He and She will always be. In unison and endlessly. Will share a love of poetry. Him at his desk, her at her tree.

My late father said that poetry teaches one how to feel. I see in this poem that you believe poetry can bring people together - something which is much needed at the present time Good luck in the contest! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

So, inside of you there are two different kinds of creators. This is refreshing and deep. Sounds to me a bit like work and pleasure and how we have to deal with both. You are good!
