She and He - Through Poetry
Writing in a notebook, she
leans against an old oak tree
with her sweet thoughts running free
like fish darting through a sea.
Typing at his keyboard, he
writes his verses rapidly,
wanting very much to flee
from his own reality.
Though apart, they soon shall be
with each other, for you see,
their tale is inside of me,
brought to life through poetry!
