Sharp The Edges, Of Poet's Pen Turned To Fight, New Dawn,Third Battle And Final Slash Part Three

Sharp The Edges, Of Poet's Pen Turned To Fight,
( New Dawn,Third Battle And Final Slash ) -
Part Three

From within, a gifted calm brings a tranquil peace
to poet's soul that searched and found a new lease
and with foresight decided to take pen to write,
about shadowy black beast, that stabs in dark of night.

Now massive strength that old poets's pens often yields
succors heart and grants victory on battlefields
new ink hones blade, gifts poetic words that destroy,
that savage beast that sought to make a whipping boy!

From poetry comes a Light that, gives true powers
which destroys wicked beasts, lurking in dark towers
by shining wisdom from classic poetic verse,
to cut those, that such illuminations do perverse.

Lo! Be aware what may be found seeking true Light
Sharp the edges, of poet's pen turned to fight!

Great sonnet! Where's the blood? Who was vanquished? The devils still are here, Try to be you here.?You don't get far. I can't ~but then, I shan't compare my writings to yours. You are far from 90 years old. I don't buy the pen is mightier than the sword. There are some arrogant and vicious people here. That quash others and poets will deny this, I realize.

Hello Robert, another beautiful poem created by you. A poet is a poet no matter what age the poet is. There is no age limit on creating poetry. Have a nice day my friend.

Hi Robert, this is indeed a mighty sonnet, exceptional, as all your work is. Age means nothing my friend, especially to the true poet, whose words shall ever shine. Let your words keep flowing and your heart keep singing. Love the content of the write. It is always a pleasure and an honour to drop by your wonderful work. Your pen wins the fight. A fav. Have a wonderful evening. Your friend always....Mike.
