Shame On You
I hear your voice, down the hall
The look on my face, tells all
I feel my skin from outside in
Tremble, Quiver and crawl
A glance for reassurance
Is more than enough for me
Low tolerance, no endurance
I halt my trembling knees
You fooled me, yes
This is truer than true
You’ll fool the rest
A time or two
But never me
Not again
I clearly see
Your scaly skin
You slither around
On the ground
Beneath my feet
You slide around
In search of those
Who’s heart, beats true
Poor souls, who know
Not yet, of you
You fooled me once
I will admit
But shame on you
I don’t forget
Your brand of slime
Your viscous kind
Will meet its match, yet
