It’s over now He’s dead and gone They buried him Below the ground It’s over now His voice shall we no longer hear He’s dead and gone Can’t hear a sound There are voices Soft spoken and I hear them Yes, I hear them There sighs of relief, Filled with grief Shallow Valley Quiet woes Nobody knows the day nor the time that Jesus will return and part the skies It’s over now Fires burning wild Blood runs warm down the streets Dead among all that seeks Shelters running from the demons Exchanging marks denying God It’s over now His voice shall we no longer hear He’s dead and gone Can’t hear a sound Suffering the loss of their unresponsive souls No Shallow Valley Quiet woes Where to go Shallow Valley Quiet woes Shallow Valley Quiet woes 1/30/20 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2020©
