Shadow Picture On the Wall

Outside the sun is shining bright The sunshine is in the living-room Making it bright and cheery For some reason I look to the wall I stare and then I notice A picture on the wall Staring at it-without blinking Making sure of what I've seen It is a framed picture of a head With a barn wall background So I stare once more at the picture Wondering where it came from

No,it was a shadow on the wall of the family room, the shadow had a head on a barn wall. It was strange to see. Have a nice evening my friend.

Interesting one, DArlene. Now you need to write a poem on where the picture came from!! I enjoyed reading this.

Ah ... who doesn't like a good mystery. A real thrilling poem, Darlene. One of the mysteries of the universe I suppose. I love your clinical approach to this mystery. Very rational and calm. You got nerves of steel, dear. Wonderful poem. Love and peace.

Darlene: Now that I'm "up in years" I find my friends and I often experience these 'mysteries'. I think for now it makes life more fun, later it may make it a bit more confusing. Thanks for sharing this piece with all of us on the Soup. oldbuck

Interesting. Leaves the reader with many questions. They can draw their own conclusions. I think this would be a good one for Halloween. Sort of a haunted picture story. Cleverly doe. I like it a lot. God Bless and a 7 from me. Thanks for the kind words on my "Scatter My Ashes In The Wind". JB
