Shade of Embrace
Across life’s wasteland in undefined journey
seething stroke of strife I tried long to evade.
As dry dust blown by parched summer wind I’d flee
the scorched landscape in search of a serene shade.
On wayside you planted sapling of your tree,
now down its bough shadows of bliss serenade.
For me tired traveler that’s the special place,
I’d sleep in shade of your emotive embrace.
