Seven At Dusk

Using sky as a canvas
Monet’s brush could have painted
our stunning sunset tonight.
Vivid pink and purple streaks
beautify marshmallow clouds.
Silver moon and twinkling stars
will soon adorn midnight blue.

I used to enjoy magnificent sunsets all year long, but now only 4-months out of the year because new high-rise condos block out the rainbows and the sunsets. Still, the pandemic has revived our ability to see the stars! Aloha! Such a shame your view is restricted by 'progress' so many other people will be missing out too Rico but as you say you can still see the stars - we have very little light pollution here and the streetlights go off at 1am, can see the stars so clearly:-) hugs Jan xx
