twilight …
we met deep in silence
no game-speak required
'neath a mist-mottled moon -
the lush mood it inspired ...
so drawn to each other
like a magnet to ores
a charred conflagration
quick-melting our cores ...
delved each other's eyes
as we worked to enmesh
our mouths and our souths
through a blending of flesh …
mixing feverish touches
and tongues, tangy-hot
our desires swirled deeper
with our limbs tying knots ...
and with chaos our compass
we made perfect, our dance
in a place where we’d found
so much more than romance …
thus our crime, in good time
found sweet end, undeterred
and with eve, took our leave -
not one glance, not one word …
such a scorching inferno
such a fierce, torrid flame
such an odd thing that you
never asked for …
my name.
