"A moment of madness and bondage for years" a few words that say so much. To be able to forgive, yourself, for mistakes of the past, thats so hard to do, but once done, so much peace is possible.

Your poem is very skillfully written. I enjoyed reading it. At First, I thought that it was about Joseph (the one with the colorful coat) being sold>>deserts of tears>> famine caused his family to seek aid and the fear they felt when they found his silver chalice in their wheat>>fears... lots of similarities. I have often thought that the enslavement of Hebrews probably began back then when they moved to Egypt for survival...Either way, it's a great poem...makes one think. Love, Dane
