September Beach
I see the waves on the surf and the golden sand.
A beautiful day like this is in demand.
The breeze blowing in from the sea is cool.
I enjoy it since the kids are back in school.
The beach is not so crowded today.
The summer tourists have gone away.
They are living their lives as they have gone home.
Today, I have plenty of room to roam.
There is bright sunshine and crisp salty air.
On the boardwalk, I have much room to spare.
I enjoy the beach much more in September.
A day like this is what I want to remember.
