reaching for new heights I climb a step stool -- feline eyes watch perched up high cat swats my reaching hand -- a step backwards a scream resounds -- the floor breaks my fall and also my wrist 6/19/16 (true story)

Cool the way you told this using syllable counts of senryu .What did that cat do when you fell? That is another senryu!!
