Send Me a Song

Send me a song, if it’s all you can do; Send me a song, I’ve got one for you too; Send me the rhythm, send me your rhymes; Show me that smile, freeze that look in your eyes; Send me a song, shield me with your melody; Like a blanket, cover me; Drown me in a scream, hear the lightest moan; A magnetic symphony Criss cross your words, Don’t forget the tone; See through your goosebumps, taste the energy in the air; Smell strawberries, sip champagne; Send me your song send me over the moon I’ll bring the rhythm Now play for me, I dare you.

This is the kind of romantic poetry that I enjoy. It is subtle, but sensual. "Send me a song, I’ve got one for you too" - love it that you threw in the "smell strawberries, sip champagne."

Thank you. That describes the moment I was trying to capture.
