Selfish One
I’m trying so hard to change
my selfish ways
To think of something
other than myself
All I did in younger days
It’s never too late to start
A great finale forgives
a poor first act
So with myself,
for the rest of my days
I make this pact
Think of someone else
Help them get what they need
Love unconditionally
Let go of personal greed
