Self-Centered

“Do you see any leg wound, my friend
I feel some pain, see drops of blood -
the road we passed was stained.” The horse
asked the cat, who detests blood or mud.

“I don’t know,” answered the cat, nestled cozily
in a bag strapped on the horse’s back.
“I didn't feel any discomfort that might have
been caused by your change in stride or slack.”
