Seguidilla - 2

I try to take a selfie, but it saddens me! The face from my good old days I no longer see. “A Wrinkle in Time" could be MY cover's title now I’m past my prime! Sept. 14, 2017 For the Seguidilla Contest of nette onclaud Inspired by line 2: I can smile at the old days ; I was beautiful then. (and also by the famous novel title: A Wrinkle in Time)

That "was" was part of the quote that inspired my poem!! I'm gonna look into the use of fillers. wrinkles near my mouth are really bringing me down!

Reads like a great contender for the contest..Don't worry about the wrinkles remember that you have earned each one of them..I enjoyed reading your work..I am not familiar with this form so I need to look into it..I might make me some notes in my poetry journal and try to write through the days ahead..Sara

A nice tongue-in-cheek entry, Andrea. The form looks interesting - I'll have to keep my eyes open for another contest in the series!! Kind regards, John.

It's very curious, JEan. I can't take a good selfie and yet SOME pictures of me turn out when taken by other people. When even THOSE stop turning out, I'll know it's truly the end!!!
