Seeking
I look into your eyes
and your soul is
seeking
Answers I cannot provide
I touch your hand
and you start
weeping
Questions only survive
I only know that I love you
I don't understand why
I only know I live because of you
I know alone my heart would die
You place your fingertips
upon my lips
Please, no more lies
You smooth my face
as we embrace
together side by side
You keep on seeking
what your broken heart denies
You keep on seeking
what our love cannot hide
