Secrets

Just ask me, the secrets between the cracks Compressing my love I have against you peel beyond the sickness that you contain And take those days and place behind our backs. Tell me a secret, one full of vast mystery Unreasonable the words placed upon those lips Take back those finger tips touching my hair This lighthouse you give, a house I must bury. Keeping a secret, evidence in my heart I cut my wings each moment you appear A soul once needed that set me at ease But this paper heart is still torn apart. One more secret that must be told I'll think of you today and always tomorrow Each poem I speak, I always speak of you That's just one secret I could not hold.
