Second Thoughts

How glorious the prizes which we've turned away; Our choices far nobler notwithstanding our conceit. Are we not just pawns only living halfway, The true reality of self - only bittersweet? Tempting the fates, our destinies unknown, Appealing to our own hearts to show us the way. Occasions for which we can never atone; Lofty decisions we can never downplay. Love is the only answer to all of our plans; Humility a solution to unwarranted pride. A belief in something far greater than man; Understanding there's more to life, than just what's inside. Passion of life is what we make it to be; Base our design on hope, faith and humanity.
