I love Winter time when it snows and blows ice frozen flakes,
it is sublime to go for a walk by snow covered lakes,
I used go on nature hikes with dad, that memory aches;
at Christmas always grandma made to amaze cookies and cakes !
Oh nothing is more divine than the sunshine in the Spring,
the warm breezes and sweet flowers blooming make my heart sing,
how pretty is a butterfly or a hummingbird wing;
as a kid I loved the parks- I would run and skid and swing !
Summer is time for a dress and guess I will plant flowers,
time for picnics and barbeques and praying for no showers,
for camping and mountain hikes and praying to the powers;
garden blooming though bugs consuming- string beans are towers !
Beautiful Fall I love you best of all for the red and gold,
for the stained fluttering leaves that wither and fold,
for those long walks in the morning when all is still and cold;
and a cozy fire to admire with a red wine bold !
