All his life Around the world traveled: Walked on the firm land Sailed over the vast seas Climbed precipitous mountains Crossed endless deserts For He was looking a sign of the divine to find But he found none After years of persistent quest Disappointed He gave up his search and sat down To relax To think To ponder For the first time He closed his inquiring eyes And In the silence of that moment Something called him from within Not from without Here I am Here I was And Here forever I will be He turned around and for the first time The divine world he saw with his soul's eyes: A world of ethereal beauty that No human mind could ever imagine: The divine world that only our inner self Could ever witness! © Demetrios Trifiatis 01 !November 2018
