Listen to poem:
nothing makes me feel closer to you
than a solitary seashore stroll
where in rolls thick heavy mist
and seagulls come to gather
i think back when love
reigned within the walls of our home
we never wanted for anything
we weren’t rich but we had each other
how cruel fate made off with you
leaving me alone to wander
with memories of you scattered
forever waltzing in my mind
cool seaside mist appears surreal
as it reveals to me the open door
to that other realm where you await me
