Many thanks, Mustapha. The ironic thing about this poem is that I wrote it yesterday morning, and later on in the afternoon I found out an old party friend of mine had died. Maybe my subconscious received some kind of posthumous, ethereal frequency on a spiritual channel; who knows. Thanks for the read and response :)
